The Ponies

It was such a beautiful day yesterday that some of these photos didn't need a filter. It was the first time back at polo in a little over two years and it was Sloane's first time.  I wish I had brought my camera down to where the ponies were fenced in...Sloane kept feeding them grass with no fear. It was hysterical.  She kept saying, "Horsey!!!! Come here!'   She even tried to climb in the pen with them.

Memorial Day

Just a few photos--of lady at the little parade that goes right in front of our house in Memorial Day.

    

Such a great little tradition.  We moved in this weekend two years ago -two weeks before she was born.  Our third parade and getting ready for her second birthday party.  Time flies.

Exactly what I wanted

What I wanted most for Mother's Day was to go back to place where being a mother was the furthest thing from my mind, yet without those four years I wouldn't be the person or mother I am.  I love UMASS Amherst to little bits and pieces and it was surreal to see Sloane chasing ducks where I used to walk to classes 16 years ago.  And we ate at Judie's and I got a calzone from DP Dough to go... Heaven.

Weekends are free

It was hard coming back from vacation...especially since lady decided to get sick again.  The incessantly sunny weather makes it easier.  She loves it.  It makes us all happy.

Sanibel

My child has crashed early after days of late bedtimes, missed naps, wave jumping, castle building, and back seat bicycle driving. It has afforded me a moment to post some of my more favorite photos.

Finally.

So happy to have gotten Sloane out of the house this week with walks, swings and trips to the park. These pics are from the beginning of the week. Her cheeks in the pic on the swing are the best.

Sick House

Well it is safe to say that our house has the plague. It started last week and took a break over the weekend and picked back up on Monday with a 104 fever for Sloane. I'm just as sick and feel like going nowhere when I come home from work. Scenes from the week....


Sloane asleep on our bed... Never happens, lots of living room tents, messes and tea. Looking forward to a healthier weekend!!

Happy Easter

Don't want you to think I am going all virtual diary to give you every last detail of my life!!  I simply want a place to share a few photos so my family and friends can enjoy them in another venue rather than the old FB.  I want to have a little more control.  Just a place to share those every day images of life and the little lady in the center of it.
